Spring ’26 #2

Hopefully, seem to be seeing more creatures in the garden this season. A second Tamopsis was spotted on the white bark of a red gum, and was then very hard to find on returning with the camera. Finally found this master of camouflage, it had moved to a darker spot where it was almost invisible, click to enlarge.

Dead sugar ants pointed to this little fellow, Euryopis umbilicata, the Superb Ant-eating Spider.

A tiny case moth dwelling, less than a centimetre long.
