{"id":4561,"date":"2025-06-19T13:28:21","date_gmt":"2025-06-19T03:28:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bencruachan.org\/naturality\/?p=4561"},"modified":"2025-06-19T13:28:21","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T03:28:21","slug":"double-banded-plovers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bencruachan.org\/naturality\/2025\/06\/19\/double-banded-plovers\/","title":{"rendered":"Double-banded Plovers."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A check of a wetland on a private property proved to be a good one, on the extensive mud flats there were many Red-capped Plovers, a few over wintering Red-necked Stints, and approximately one hundred and fifty Double-banded Plovers, over from New Zealand, and taking it easy on the far shore.\u00a0 Lacking a camera, no photos were taken, so another visit took place on the following day, to find the double-bandeds spread out over the wetland feeding.
