This blue flowered plant has never been popular for this purpose, but the butterfly and more recently a New Holland Honeyeater have found it acceptable.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/pix30\/dart.jpg\" width=\"702\" height=\"844\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On a spent Xerochrysum flower, a wingless grasshopper, Phaulacridium vittata.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/pix30\/hopper.jpg\" width=\"702\" height=\"749\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And on the Sannantha, a Common Hoverfly, Eristalis tenax.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/pix30\/hoverfly.jpg\" width=\"702\" height=\"874\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of the many varieties of Tachinid fly that haunt the garden.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/pix30\/tach.jpg\" width=\"702\" height=\"774\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Robberflies have been scarce this season, a smaller species, genus Cerdistus.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/pix30\/robber.jpg\" width=\"702\" height=\"819\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A nicely camouflaged Helpis minitibunda on an Angophora trunk.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/pix30\/helpis2.jpg\" width=\"702\" height=\"726\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A flake of bark had fallen off the Eucalyptus parramattensis, exposing this flattened bark spider, identified on Inat. as Hemicloea rogenhoferi.
