This nest was being dug in the bank of Flooding Creek close to the lake.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/guyatt\/pardnest.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/guyatt\/pardnestb.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"522\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/guyatt\/pardnest2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bencruachan.org\/naturality\/guyatt\/pardnest2b.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"496\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The chicks of the pardalote would be safe in their tunnel nest from predation by the final bird in this post, the Little Raven.
